Being a Best Man

First and foremost, congratulations Yong & Mun
Yong & Mun, please don't be upset that i "stole" these pictures, its too sweet to not do it!

Yes, I was a best man, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you.

I'm super duper glad that the groom was liberal enough to not put me in a pair of tux and i didn't have to eat chilies, drink sour green juice, lick dark soy sauce or chew on crazy sweets. Gate-crashing was written off by the lovely couple. (The best man/ groomsmaid/ brothers get "tortured" by the bridesmaid/ maid of honour/ sisters in majority of the Chinese weddings  - BEWARE !)

The entire wedding was simple, relaxing and great, everyone had so much fun! The band at the wedding reception was super professional, photobooth team were fun and efficient and the event/dinner team at Shangri La Hotel were helpful and organize.

I've always love weddings and this wedding is on the top of my list, I belief it will stay there for a long long time. Maybe, if i am lucky enough to have a wedding of my own, it will most likely be something like this.

I feel honor to be part of your wedding! Congratulations once again Yong & Mun !

Till then ~

A Royal Wedding

Working and trying to catch an international event during the end of office hours is almost impossible! I was sieving through tons of data while reading twits of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding and trying to finish everything before my dateline (more of "deadline" now)

Anyway back to our celebrated couple..

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Stratheam, Baron of Carrickfergus and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn,
Baroness Carrickfergus

First and Foremost ! Congratulations ! You both look fantastic!

However, i did expected a less subtle gown from the bride cos i got the rumor that she was wearing a McQueen!

The less subtle gown (Alexander McQueen Paris SS11 )
Taken from http://trendland.net
(I had to take it from trendland cos alexandermcqueen.com was down )

Nonetheless the lace McQueen did a great job for the royal wedding, a true princess gown, one that reminds me of all the Disney Princess. The dress that concrete sealed her classic, elegant yet simple style. Most importantly, appropriate for her public image, an image of a queen.

Two thumbs of to the the style icon !!

(They have more details of her entire outfit!)

P.S: i took the name and long tittles above from Wikipedia.. i had no idea how to salute them.. i wanted to write Mr and Mrs Windsor or Prince and Princess of Wales (Which will be horribly wrong).. After much reading, i gave up and took Wikipedia's titles.. I do admit i turn blue trying to read them all in one breath.. hehe

Till Then~
